Smoky Mountain Fall Color Workshop, Gregg Cable House, Cades Cove

From October 26-29 2014 I will be conducting a Fall Color workshop tour in the Smoky Mountains. The Smokies are blanketed in their autumn tapestry at this time of year. One of the days we will be spending time in Cades Cove capturing the colors. During our time in Cades Cove we will spend time photographing the interiors of early american cabins taken care of by the parks service.

Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 is a great tool for bringing out the detail of these interior images.

About europeanimages

Light is both the photographer's palette and brush. Harnessing available light is a skill learned through the study of technical theory and then applying it in the field. My goal as a photographer is to search out the images that interest me artistically, then once I have found the essence of that place I use composition and light to enhance the images. Nice job bringing out the detail and color in the cabin Paul. I remember taking several similar shots in that room. Hope you are having a good summer.

Thanks Steve it has been a busy season between the art fairs and printing and it was fun sitting down and working on some of the images from the Smokies. Hope to see you in Louisville during the St James art fair.
