Paul Christopher James is a published, award winning photographers from south eastern Michigan who offers the best in personalized photographic instruction on every level, whether you’re just beginning or a seasoned veteran.I take great pride in my work and this translates to some great teaching techniques. I have vast experience in artistic and technical aspects of photography. I am adept in Digital, Medium, and Large format Cameras, including a large range of camera brands and models and welcome photographers of all formats and media. My goal as a photographer is to search out the images that interest me artistically, and upon finding the essence of a particular place I use composition and light to enhance these images.
There are places and things that speak to everyone, some sing to me and move me; these are the places and things that I schedule time to photograph and teach workshops. The best time of the day for me is just as the sun is coming up and I can enjoy that soft light before the rest of the world wakes up.
